Do Pets Really Need Dental Care?
Yes! Pets, like people, need regular dental care. Studies have shown that greater than 85% of dogs and cats over 3 years of age have some form of dental and/or gum disease. Imagine not brushing your teeth or having them cleaned for 3 years!
Dental hygiene in pets is often overlooked but is an important factor in their overall health. At Romeo Pet Hospital we can adapt a plan to your companion’s needs.

Dental and gum disease in cats and dogs can be prevented with routine dental cleanings, regular examinations, and a healthy diet. All of these can significantly improve your pet’s quality of life and extend their longevity.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support, patience, and cooperation. We are doing the best we can for you and your beloved pets and are grateful to be part of a community that is doing so well to keep the spread of the virus so well controlled.
We are constantly re-evaluating how best to do appointments in these uncertain times, keeping in mind the health and safety of our staff, our clients, and our patients. We have been pleased with how our current method is working and will continue to allow 1 masked client into the building with their pet.
We will continue curbside pickup for all food and medications indefinitely until the Covid situation is back under control. Please call or ring the doorbell at the bottom of the stairs to let us know you have arrived. If this is inconvenient, we do have a webstore that delivers your food to your front door, just ask us for details.
Please note that the extra strain on our phone system has made it difficult to get through to us, especially at certain times of day. If you have non-urgent questions, requests for food/meds, or updates, please consider emailing as we do check email regularly throughout the day.
